This time, we want to share our latest molded product with you – custom soap made with 3D printing! See below for how to get one for free!
The much-anticipated 3D printing exhibition is coming soon! We will be meeting you next week from 8/29 (Wednesday) to 9/1 (Saturday) at booth I402 on the first floor of Hall 1, Nangang Exhibition Center!
There will be not only a presentation of many of the latest technological exhibits, but also many practical and exquisite 3D printed small gifts for you to take home!
Let's reveal how this exquisite handmade soap was produced using 3D printing:
1. First, we use 3D printing to create the base mold for the finished soap. These colorful samples are all results of printing with PLA filament!

2. Next, the sample is used for silicone molding, and after demolding, a mold suitable for mass production is obtained. From a single model, you can see that even tiny triangles are printed very clearly. This depends on the exquisite detail of the sample itself, so the quality of the 3D print used at the beginning is very important.

3. Prepare the tools for making soap: lemon essential oil, soap base, soap colorant (for coloring), measuring cup, scale, bamboo chopsticks, microwave.

4. Cut the large block of soap base into small pieces for easier heating, and weigh it according to the amount of soap you want to make.

5. Put the cut and weighed small pieces of soap into the microwave and heat for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on your microwave's power. Heat until melted! If it boils excessively, there will be many small bubbles, so it doesn't need to be heated for too long.

6. Then add the soap colorant and stir quickly until evenly mixed. After the color is uniform, add the essential oil. If you add essential oil first, the fragrance will dissipate, so add the colorant first.

7. Here comes the most important step! Because we want to create a gradient color, we've already prepared blue and green shades. Now, we'll pour them into the mold simultaneously! To make this step look good, it needs to be done in one swift motion. Look at our partner's skillful hands!

8. The soap liquid must be poured into the mold as quickly as possible before it cools, otherwise, as the soap liquid gradually solidifies with cooling, it will be difficult to pour! The soap liquid poured into the mold is crystal clear and very beautiful!

9. Soaps made with a soap base can be demolded immediately after cooling and hardening in the refrigerator! Silicone molds are flexible, making it easy to remove the soap.

10. The finished soap is crystal clear with a beautiful gradient color, absolutely irresistible! Not only that, we'll also include a compact 3D printed soap dish! Interested? How can you get one for free?
