Washing and Curing Integrated into One Device
After a resin 3D print is completed, the model typically requires both washing and post-curing. Form Studio Wash+Cure integrates both functions into a single unit, reducing the space occupied by extra equipment and making the post-processing workflow more centralized and intuitive.
Washing Mode
All resin 3D printed parts require the removal of uncured residual resin from their surfaces after printing.
Form Wash+Cure creates a uniform and efficient cleaning process by agitating IPA or other compatible cleaning solvents around the parts.
Curing Mode
Form Wash+Cure uses a 405 nm light source for post-curing, allowing the polymerization process initiated during printing to continue toward completion.
Proper post-curing further enhances the final material properties of resin parts.
Highly Efficient Resin 3D Printing Washing Process
The washing mode of the Form Wash+Cure can be used with IPA or other compatible cleaning solutions, utilizing solvent flow to remove residual resin from the model's surface and intricate areas.
Once washing is complete, simply lift the internal wash basket out of the solvent and let the parts air dry before moving on to the curing step.
405 nm Post-Curing for Enhanced Final Part Performance
When a resin 3D printed part is first finished, the material's curing reaction is not yet complete. Form Studio Wash+Cure uses a 405 nm light source for post-curing, enabling the material to complete its curing reaction.
Proper post-curing can enhance the mechanical and thermal properties of parts based on the specific resin characteristics, while also improving surface quality.
