With an optimised transmission system and motion control algorithms, the Artisan features ± 0.1 mm dimensional accuracy at high print speeds of 180 mm/s.
．Fast Swap, Swap at Will
In addition to the module and build plate, the printheads are also supported by Luban's nozzle auto-recognition and parameter matching function, which allows for quick swap between large diameter or hardened steel nozzles, making it easy to obtain different types of printed parts such as prototypes and high-strength parts. The Dual Extrusion 3D Printing Module also has a motor built in to automatically lift and shift between two extruders, without extra printhead movement or switch toggling. This enables faster and quieter dual-extrusion 3D printing.

Artisan's dual-extrusions 3D printer support PVA, HIPS and other dissolvable materials. No worry about complex geometries, and the finished support structure has a flat and smooth surface.
．Easy-to-remove Support
The break-away filaments provides the same support as ordinary printing materials and is much easier to remove without further post-processing.
．Save Time and Power with Zone-Heated Bed
In the middle of the Artisan heated bed there is a 260 x 260 mm high temperature zone (also known as the inner zone) with a maximum temperature of 110°C and an outer zone with a maximum temperature of 80°C. When your model is placed in the inner zone it takes only 2-3 minutes to heat up to 60°C and the outer zone is not heated, thus saving time and energy.
． 3 Easy Steps to Calibration
Artisan automatically calibrates the heated bed and the Z-axis offset of the two nozzles, then semi-automatically calibrates the nozzles against each other in the X and Y directions. After 3 steps, you have a perfect adhesion and alignment on dual-material or bicolor printing.

The Artisan new build plate is made of glass with a higher degree of flatness, ensuring a smoother and more adhesive first layer. The smooth glass on one side and the PEI coating on the other facilitate the adhesion of various printing filaments.
．Higher Performance, More Possibilities
With improved print temperatures, nozzle hardness and slicing algorithms, Artisan can print on more advanced materials.
Artisan have incorporated an emergency stop button into the controller, and the process paused by the button can be resumed.
The laser module will automatically stop when the detection temperature is higher than the normal operating temperature (above 55°C).
